Art

Most of my created works are unrefined, simple in nature, and are cultivated by using unique medium combinations, in the hopes to capture the beauty that is felt within and seen in the world about. This page of art is done mainly on handmade, raised panel boards, which are all made by myself.  To create the desired effect, I use acrylic and latex paints, beeswax, darkening mixtures, textiles, found objects, and unique vintage photos & papers. Every piece I create takes on a life of it's own, developing into even a pleasant surprise to me at times.

A little ditty I made for my daughter.
I LOVE to find small, unique, weathered boards and create a little something special on them!

This piece was done for an art exchange. I used an cupboard door then painted, added some papers and such, then waxed.

This, is one of my favorites.
"Grace Upon Grace, and Then Some"
It represents a lot and I used all my favorite fall back colors.

"Hunting Island's Way"
Collecting driftwood can equal a pretty cool piece!  I wanted to create my version of  "stone stacking".

"Snow Crane"
